
Julie Austin
Teaching and video production have brought Julie into close contact with First Nations youth and environmental groups. As part of a healing circle, she spent a year in a Cree speaking community in Alberta. Her co-produced documentary, " A Love Stronger than Poison" provided an emotion -filled mirror to that community. She is co-producer of the award winning series, Cree for Kids, and received an award at the Missoula Wildlife festival for her expose on Northern pulp and paper development, "May the Forest be with You". Julie is always learning as technology leaps ahead and is constantly honing her expertise in web authoring, flash animation and video editing.

Phil Carson
Phil Carson started a video exchange program over 25 years ago, called "Video Pals" where children and youth produced their own videos to share with other youth around the world. Phil has produced many documentaries over the years including, " The Hand of Man", " The Eagle and El Condor", Duelling Dogs, "May the Forest be with You" and
" A Love Stronger than Poison." Phil did a stint as a media literacy instructor at Vancouver Island University. His passion is using video and the power of the Internet and it's viral capabilities to spread messages of social urgency.
